Among the awardees was Klara Grahovac, who was declared the best in the category &#8220;<em data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"707\">Your Host of the Year &#8211; Local Host<\/em>&#8221; for the Istrian County.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"769\" data-end=\"1255\">Mileti\u0107 thanked all stakeholders in the tourism sector for their continued contribution to the development and recognition of Istria as one of the most desirable tourist regions in Croatia and beyond. In his address, he pointed out that Istria confirmed its leading role in the tourist trade of the Republic of Croatia this year with significant achievements in the number of arrivals and overnight stays, which is the result of the persistent work and dedication of local tourism workers and organizations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1257\" data-end=\"1563\">Along with Grahovac, which was recognized as an example of an authentic and humane approach to family accommodation, the prefect also congratulated the other laureates who contribute to the development of various segments of the tourist offer &#8211; from active and sustainable tourism to boutique accommodation and attractions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1565\" data-end=\"1989\">Mileti\u0107 emphasized the importance of year-round, sustainable and quality tourism focused on people, as well as the balance between the needs of guests and the quality of life of the local population.
