In an interview with <em data-start=\"565\" data-end=\"574\">Istra24<\/em>, Grahovac believes that instead of improving quality, the regional offer in recent years has been developing in a direction that is losing the traditional value and identity of the destination.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"1160\">According to her, if residential buildings in cities are converted into apartments, and in villages there are more vacation homes than residents, the original identity and uniqueness of the place is lost, which also negatively affects the quality of life of the local population. Such trends, she believes, distance tourism from its core and the spirit of the Istrian region.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1162\" data-end=\"1542\">Grahovac points out that true hospitality does not lie in numbers and mass standards, but in relationships, local customs and an authentic experience based on respect for tradition and the local way of life.
