Klara Grahovac from Pula, winner of the “Your Host of the Year – Local Host” award of the Istrian County, confirmed her long-standing personal approach that provides guests with an authentic and quality stay experience. According to a report by the Crolens.hr portal, the award was presented to her at a ceremony as part of the Croatian Tourism Days event in Dubrovnik, an event that brings together key players in the tourism sector from across the country.
The Local Host Awards, jointly implemented by the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and partner family accommodation associations, are awarded to the best hosts in each county who are recognized for their personal approach, attention to guests and integration of local values in their homestay offerings. This national quality standard emphasizes the importance of human contact, tradition and a responsible tourism approach.
According to the article, Grahovac stressed that the recognition is a confirmation of her many years of work and dedication to each guest in particular. She pointed out that the essence of family accommodation is precisely the authentic relationship with guests, sharing local culture and community, and creating a sense of welcome that lasts even after the stay.
Its position in Istria is hereby further confirmed as an example of a responsible and modern approach to tourism that values tradition, place and people, not just numbers and capacities. It is particularly noteworthy that this approach has contributed to creating experiences that guests fondly remember and recommend to others.
